i was curious if there were any other nationwide bakery chains in the US.

Great Harvest Bread Company is the best I've ever had, but they may only be regional right now (SW Michigan). Here's a link to their website, where you can track down the closest store, or even buy a franchise. They're growing pretty quickly…I'm not the only person who's addicted! :)
