just be sure not to get it on the scalp or face etc. i could cause some itching and irritation but does not affect the hair that way – go figure – i didnt drape my shoulders and got some irritation but my hair was fine

The acid thing is right which is why i cringe when ppl put dr. bronners on there hair:( why do you think you ned vinegar after? The baking soday also clarifies the hair to allow better moisture penetration. Even the safe products will buildup from gentle cowashing.

My daughter is 10, but I’d think it’s safe for your 4 year old. It’s not a chemical and it doesn’t stay in the hair. When you rinse it out it’s gone. I know what you mean about being apprehensive and wanting to be safe. But I think it will be fine. It didn’t cause any irritation what so ever. I’m very pleased and plan to do it at least once a month on her hair.

Really? How old is ur daughter cuz I was thinking of doing this on my youngest hair which gets extremely dry. Some days she just looks rough. (Check out my last vid-a 5 year olds take on natural hair) The problem is, she’s only 4. Is it safe to use on little kids? I know it’s natural, but still, can’t be too safe you know! Any advise appreciated.

Wow thank you wj539 for posting this!

It came just in time because I was in dire need for a deep conditioner. I saw how moist your hair is in this video so I decided to trry this…

My hair feels like… WOW! So soft and moisturized… it really works!

and its an extremely cheap too with less than 2 dollars for both the baking soda and conditioner (I used Suave)

I think Im gonna stick with this every 2 months

    Thanks again!

I am addicted to this treatment…. but I always wanted to know why it worked. Now I know that the reason why we get this effect is because our natural hair is more acidic than alkaline. When you raise the level of acid in your conditioner, it gives this smooth result. I freakn luv it!

I had lots of trouble with windows movie maker for a while. I have a JVC video camera. I had to use cyberlink power director express to convert my .mov files to .avi files before I could upload them to windows movie maker. It likes avi files for some reason. It took me a few weeks to figure out how to get my bc video imported. I know how you feel.
