Many times I make the dough in my breadmaker and take it out when dough is done. These are soooooooo good!!!

No-Rise Butter Rolls

After the dough sits overnight, these rolls can be ready in under 15 minutes.

Ingredients
1 C. shortening
1 C. milk
1/2 C. warm water
1 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast
1 tsp. white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 C. white sugar
2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 C. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbs. butter, softened

Directions
Melt and cool the shortening and milk. Dissolve the yeast and 1 tsp. of the sugar in the warm water. Beat the eggs, 1/2 C. sugar, and salt together. Combine the milk mixture, yeast mixture, and egg mixture. Sift the flour and baking powder together and add to the wet mixture. Stir until combined then cover and refrigerate overnight. Divide dough into fourths and roll out on a floured surface. Spread top surface of the rolled out dough with the soft butter. Cut triangles (pie piece shaped) pieces and roll up from larger to small end. Place rolls on a baking sheet and allow to rolls to rise for 3 to 4 hours. Bake rolls in a preheated 400 degree oven for 5 to 8 minutes.
References :
Butterhorn Bread Machine Rolls

25 min 10 min prep

3/4 cup milk
1 egg
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teasoon salt
1/3 cup oil (can use shortening, too)
1/3 cup sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons yeast (or what your bread machine uses)
1 1/2 tablespoons melted butter

Place all ingredients except melted butter in pan.
Select Dough Only setting and press start.
When dough has risen long enough, the machine will beep.
Remove dough from pan.
Divide dough into 3 equal balls.
Roll out each ball, one at a time, into a 9 inch circle (don't worry if you can't get it exactly 9 inch).
(Note: I always start rolling my dough and let it rest for awhile and resume rolling. The resting helps relax the dough).
With pizza cutter (works great!)or sharp knife, divide each circle into 8 wedges, as if cutting a pizza.
Starting at the wide end, roll up each wedge toward the point.
Cover and place in a warm oven (turn oven onto warm setting for 2 minutes and turn off, to make a good environment for dough).
Let rise for 30 to 40 minutes until doubled.
Remove sheet from oven to preheat oven!
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
Remove from oven.
Brush rolls lightly with melted butter
