Bread ! Does anyone have a good recipe for a 11/2 lb loaf baked in a breadmaker ?

Yes I know I can get recipes online, I can also get them from all the cookbooks that I have. I was hoping to get one that was tried and recommended !

Here are a couple I’ve had good results with. I also have some good white bread ones if you’d like them.

HONEY OATMEAL BREAD

10 ounces (1 1/4 cups) water at 80 degrees
2 Tbsp honey
2 Tbsp butter
2 1/3 cups bread flour
1 cup oats (quick or old-fashioned, NOT instant)
2 Tbsp dry milk
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp bread machine/fast rise yeast (or 2 tsp active dry yeast

1. Add liquid ingredients and butter to pan
2. Add dry ingredients, except yeast to pan. Tap pan to settle dry ingredients, then level ingredients, pushing some of the mixture into the corners.
3. Make a well in center of dry ingredients, add yeast. Lock pan into bread maker.
4. Program for basic bread select cycle, loaf size, 1 1/2 lb., and desired crust color. Can use time delay setting as well.

FRENCH BREAD

10 1/2 ounces (1 1/4 cups plus 1 Tbsp) water, 80 degrees
1 Tbsp butter
1/2 tsp olive or vegetable oil
3 1/3 cups bread flour
1 Tbsp sugar
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp bread machine/ fast rise yeast (or 2 tsp active dry yeast)

Directions as recipe above. For thicker or chewier crust, use medium or dark crust setting.
