Crusty on the outside, chewy on the inside! Use your bread maker to bake this wonderful French bread…unfortunately my kid unplugged the bread maker half way through (and you cannot restart it at the place it was interrupted) so I had to salvage the loaf and shape & bake it by hand! So you get 2 videos in one: bread machine and traditional!
1-1/4 cups + 1 Tbsp water
3-1/2 cups flour
1-1/2 tsp sugar
1-1/4 tsp salt
1 Tbsp butter, cut into 4 pieces
1-1/2 tsp fast rise yeast
Duration : 0:2:31

Usually you would …
Usually you would use liquid measuring cup for liquids and dry measures for dry ingredients. In metric they are both ml, so one cup flour = 250 ml flour in a dry measure. A tablespoon is 15 ml, a teaspoon is 5 ml. You can also weigh the dry ingredients to be most accurate but most recipes for the household cook don’t use weights. Hope that helps!
