Erm NO! They would not overpopulate the earth they would decline in population because we would not support them anymore if we all decided to not eat meat. They would be probably relegated to extinction. (domesticated animals) I am a meat eater but an overpopulation theory is wrong. We support the animals not nature/the environment

I doubt the population would decrease. If anything it would increase faster because food would be in greater quanities (btw we can easily feed the world’s population the problem is getting the food there.) because it would not be dedicated to animal production. Meat production is terribly inefficent. Chicken is the best which is 2 pounds of grain for 1 pound of meat i believe. Pigs are next most efficent if i remember correctly

x3Danielaa: if we wouldn’t eat them (and changing the world to vegetarianism would be a long term process), then there would be no body to buy the dead animals products, so it wouldn’t be a viable business to produce animals and simply farmers would not bred them. The world population would naturally decrease. No killing and no overpopulating.
