I posted my experience with the baking soda conditioner DC on Nappturality. One week later, my hair is starting to feel a LITTLE better but it’s still really dry. Last night I used a commercial DC that said it was for “very dry chemically processed hair” and I feel like that’s exactly what my hair is even though the chemical consisted of baking soda and conditioner. You brought up a good point about shea butter though: Now that my hair is fried, maybe I can use it straight now, lol.

SO TRUE!!! I put baking soda mixed with naked naturals conditioner and as I was putting it in my hair it was giving off a lot of heat. I just kept thinking oh my goodness is there a dangerous reaction going on in my hair.

Your vidoes are always so informative. You are right. Not to mention that everyone’s HAIR itself if different. Being natural takes trial and errror along with lot of common sense.
