What happens with the baking soda and vinegar reaction?

So what is baking soda and what is vinegar. What makes the fizz when vinegar is added to baking soda. What are there chemical names and what gas is produced.

Baking soda is NaHCO3
Vinegar is CH3COOH
Reaction takes place as :
NaHCO3+CH3COOH—> CH3COONa + H2O + CO2

CO2, Carbon dioxide gas makes the fizz.

    Its a boring little expand of gasses and makes it fizzle for a a little, thats about it
