They are really good for large loaves. It makes a horizontal loaf instead of vertical like most other breadmakers. It makes a loaf of wheat bread in about 3 1/2 hours. Behind it (and cheaper) is the Breadman, (This is the one I have), Sunbeam and Panasonic. The Zojirushi makes a loaf of bread that is a normal sized loaf. Most others don't. You want a fresh home made loaf of bread that is normal size. A normal white loaf takes three hours to mix, rise and bake. Quick cycle two hours.
