Here’s another bread recipe for the bread maker. Nice flavour and added fibre in a lighter textured loaf than 100% whole wheat.
1 cup + 3 Tbsp water
1-1/2 Tbsp honey
1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
1-1/4 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup oat bran
1-1/2 Tbsp dry milk
1-1/2 tsp salt
1-1/2 tsp fast rise yeast
1 Tbsp butter

Yes! You can certainly make this by hand (see my white bread vid for instructions if you don’t know how)…you can get dry milk at the grocery store in the baking aisle (near condensed milk and evap. milk usually) or in small quantities at the bulk store! Good luck!

No, I don’t think so…a lot of the time is just rising time…minimum heat…and baking takes a lot less energy than a huge oven…
