Here’s another bread recipe for the bread maker. Nice flavour and added fibre in a lighter textured loaf than 100% whole wheat.

1 cup + 3 Tbsp water
1-1/2 Tbsp honey
1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
1-1/4 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup oat bran
1-1/2 Tbsp dry milk
1-1/2 tsp salt
1-1/2 tsp fast rise yeast
1 Tbsp butter

No, I don’t think so…a lot of the time is just rising time…minimum heat…and baking takes a lot less energy than a huge oven…
